Imperial Guard HQ WIP

I've been working on this terrain piece for a while now and I've hit a wall on my ideas. The roof is made of cardboard (unless someone can suggest something better please) and I can't figure out what to put around the edge of it in order to neaten it up! Need some suggestions and ideas please!

For the edge, card stock like from a cereal box. Or replace the whole thing with foamcore board

Thanks! I wish I'd seen this sooner. I took spackle and made a right angle corner with it that lines up to the cardboard. And what is foamcore?? I've seen a lot of people saying they used it but I only have access to a walmart and I couldnt find the stuff.

looks like they have one kind and it may not be at all stores but its more commonly know as foamboard

Lol now I feel really dumb ?????? I actually have some of that siting right in my terrain box ??????. I used it for another bunker I made but I didn't like it too much

Nice start! You could use card stock, playing cards, or polystyrene sheets.

Update

So here's a little update/what I did. I used drywall spackling to make the edges flush with the cardboard and then used the spackling to make sandbags that will go all the way around as well.

Update

Finished sanbagad and most of the edging. Blew out the wall and will be adding in a sort of jury rigged repair job that a gaurdsman or any soldier would probably do. Planning on adding barbed wire around the top and basing with MDF and then adding some small emplacements around the main building.
