Plinth base made from lego as promised:

A basic idea of the colour scheme for the guardsman, although i am going to paint the trowsers and shirt in a british dpm jungle style camo..

Updated pics, the pics of the guardsman arent really shiny, its just the sun reflecting off the slightly wet paint.

Just took a peek at the mini and it turns out it did go shiny, pretty sure it was the gryphonne sepia (second wash ive got beef with now..)

Just added some devlan mud over the top, that sorted it out sharpish. Running out of that and badab black.. anyone if gw got that shipment of them yet??

I will most definatly be useing that technique again. The best thing is you can make em whatever size you like!

Omg, just had the best idea!

Glue a lego brick to the bottom of you base, build it up around the outside with more bricks and millput and voilia, you can unclip the mini from the plinth!!!

Good thinking. How am I going to get paid from this? Can I claim intellectual property rights or not? Or I suppose you wanna keep those.....
