This is the latest model that I have finished. I tried to go for a slightly strained/ unhealthy look for the face and tried to paint the coat in a good colour to match and bring out the face.

Anyway here he is:

i like him. the base could do with a little more contrast imo. i like the fact that it\'s plain but a bit more highlighting on it could help bring out the detail

The icon and the skin color are very cool but the coat doesn\'t work for me. Looks like block painting with an ink slapped on.
Try building up layers (don\'t know...scab red> 50/50 scab red-blood red> blood red + red ink + a thin layer of Vallejo Smoke washed over the coat), I that would give it more dept, IMHO.
On the other hand, it might be just me...

Thanks for all the comments.

The base does have more colour in real life but it didn\'t come out in the photography.

@Juggernaught: The red is more highlighted and shaded it just didn\'t come out as well in the photo\'s no matter what I tried.

I like the face, certainly you got what you set out to do \" I\'m having a really bad day\":)

Personally I would have painted the coat in a contrasting colour , say green to really emphasise the unhealthy skin tones and as you say it may just be your photo and the contrast is greater in real life.
Keep up the good work.
