In a world where anything can happen, given time, everything will happen.

So the guy\'s continuing his shenanigans, eh? Anybody know if his auctions are coming up again?

The next step then, is whether or not the individuals who bought the lovely book want their cash back.
That\'s very generous of you, but they have no claim to it legally. They ordered something, paid for it and got it. It\'s not a defective product because the guy stole it in the first place.
It\'s kind of like the people who bought an X-box on ebay only to be stuck with just a very expensive empty cardboard box (except they could have learned that the auction was only for the box by carefully reading the listing - you couldn\'t learn from this guy\'s listing that he lifted the material).

OK. He put up another auction, this time selling ROMs. He also states this blatantly in the auction. I reported it.
I hereby vow to make his remaining days on ebay SUCK LIKE HELL. You read this, asshole? I\'ll seriously report ANYTHING you will list if it is only SLIGHTLY shady.
I am not doing it because of ethics or because I have a moral objection against it. I am doing this solely because I don\'t want him to get any money, because I am envious about him making a big buck of our articles and because I am a total dick. Let there be no doubt in the land that these are my reasons.

On a further note, I wonder if my article was sold too. If so, I too would join in with the writing of Cease and Decist letters, not because I think he will give a damn but because I love to tell people to stick it and if I can do it legally then all the better.

It\'s kyoto-kuris. Here is his Feedback page:

By the way, the link on the first page still works ;)

His eBay name is kyoto-kuris. Right now he\'s only selling some kind of PSP ROM package, which also looks like something that borders on copyright infringement (if not blatent copyright theft), but somebody in the gaming industry would know more about this than me.

I think this guy just makes all his money selling copied stuff. The swindler!

if some one who has bought one of his products was to get in touch with trading standards, that would be funny, as his address is already known:D

Looking at the reaction I think many of the buyer don\'t even realise the info in the book was stolen here. Any way we can let them know?

Also, has anybody reported this to his website\'s internet service provider? Most providers are pretty strict about copyright infringements.

You know, if he had done it properly - added his own materials and credited everyone there probably wouldn\'t be much room for complaint. But he didn\'t.

Oh well.

Again, I\'m asking if anyone has the exact names of the files, as they are still downloadable from the site. I was able to access one of the .pdf files earlier today, as I still had the name of it in my browser\'s history.

I\'d like to verify what section my article\'s been posted in, as I\'m pretty sure I saw it when skimming through when this thread was first posted.

I think it\'s just REALLY slow. I got the terrain file just now, took forever and a day to see the first page (5 mins) then it lagged and froze when I tried to scroll down to the second page. I waited a min or two then shut down my browser with the task manager.

Those files show he deliberately ignored explicit copyrights - especially when some of the images have things like \"©2002 FigurePainters.com\" on them. What a stupid, stupid tit.
