Hasselhof\'s big American PPV event was the same night as the Bronco chase.

Needless to say, viewer rate was low.

Did you see when he was dancing in a swamp, there was a daschund in a little coat? And the giant cubes?? And the angel toddlers? ? ? ??? ??? ??? That left me traumatised, but it was funny :flip:

hehe.. :D I\'m glad you are all Hasselhoff fans..! (I like the hasslehoff spelling)

The song was BTW made famous by a swedish band called \"Blue Swede\" in the middle of the 70\'s! Their only hit.. but it\'s in Reservoir Dogs! :) The lead singer, Björn Skifs is still famous both as a singer and actor, he recently broke the domestic record of staying on the Swedish top chart (decided by voting, mainly by eldery folks) for the longest continuous time. 111 Weeks with his \"håll mitt hjärta\" (hold my heart) One of the keyboardists of Blue swede, Anders Berglund, became a famous arranger and composer. He made the music for \"en kille och en tjej\" (A Guy and a Gal) for example, which was the second movie by the Swedish hollywood director Lasse Hallström.

Some trivia for you! :)

AH! I actually knew it was from Blue Swede!

Although I am not sure if that shows my age, or the fact that I keep watching Time-life \'classic hits from the 60-70s\' Info-mercial late at night. They sell huge compendium CD\'s of all these great hits that we should have forgotten by now.

Just to be pedantic, the song was actually written in the 60\'s by the same guy that wrote Elvis\'s \"Suspicious Minds\" and was a hit for B J Thomas first, then for Jonathan Knight (who originally added the \"ooga chacka\" bit) and THEN Blue Swede. True, its probably best known now for the Blue Swede version because of \"Reservoir Dogs\" and the Dancing Baby bit, but some of us have memories that extend beyond the last 10 years :D.
Oh, and BTW, the original wasa a rather syrupy love ballad.
