I went too far! I admitted it too! I should never have allowed the weekend ale to overtake me so
I now want to distance myself from the original list as I know I missed too many, and I\'d also like to say that part of me died when I started this thread lol

Not a lot fortunately/unfortunately. I am much busier at work which means I have slightly less time, but I am also evolving/devolving too and have cultivated other interests such as bass guitar and sea kayaking

Those Kayaks look great fun! I\'ve been looking at acquiring one too - not for fishing but general messing about on the water. It\'s something I could use locally too (unlike the boat I bought (not particularly bright buying a speedboat type thing when living about as far from the sea as is possible in the UK lol)

Hinestly it is the people that inhabit this forum that keep me coming back here day after day.
For the most part I like most of the people here, even the ones I have disagreed with. The only exception would be people who can\'t have an arguement without becoming arseholes (you know who you are

I can\'t believe I made the list and I haven\'t even been here in months. It\'s like making Mr.Blackwells list... for good or ill there\'s no such thing as bad publicity.
As far as who I respect, my list would probably be close to Rev\'s. I was one of those that made an a$$ of myself when I first started posting, and I think Phil probably still doesn\'t like me.
I used to strongly dislike people who were intolerent, until Shawn was good enough to point out to me that that way of thinking would put me on my own list. So now Shawn is probably close to the top of my respect list, wether he likes it or not. I also got my hand slapped by DR once, but that was a long time ago and I think he (hopefully) has a short memory.
I think the thing people like Rev, Space, Finn, and others of our ilk like about certain other people here at CMON is that we speak our mind, without trying to dance around people\'s feelings too much. Political Correctness is all well and good, but sometimes you just have to tell it like it is.
Even if it does make you sound like a hard-ass jerk.
