I have a feeling that Duende knew that this would happen, and posted a \"How do you boost your post count\" to do just that!
(damn, wish i\'d thought of it first)
Although, most people seem to have cottoned onto this and are making better use of the thread than Duende.
ps. I\'m not one of them, i\'m just an innocent bystander.

Like DFD, I\'ve been around a while, but the majority of my posts have been in the last 6 months or so. Pleased when I hit 500!
1000 seems such a long way off. I\'ve reached it on another forum, but nothing exciting happened there. No posting freak status, no magic keys, no special forums.
Like you D, If I can\'t add I don\'t add. mostly.

Learn about Future and flow aid, learn about brushes, learn about lamps, learn NMM theory. See, there\'s a new topic on those things almost every day. Regardless of whether you\'ve said the same thing the day before, say it again. Copy \'n\' paste, if need be. And continue the conversation in each thread. You\'ll have 20 posts in a day.
And if someone hasn\'t said something of relevance in a thread, just look to see what Einion said in the previous thread and freely plagiarise. The bonus to that is that Einion will typically spot your sound advice and agree with you. So now you also feel like you know what you\'re talking about, and everyone else thinks you\'re a boffin too. You could also try disagreeing with Einion... the brush argument works for me. lol
The advantage of this is that you appear to post a whole bunch of useful comments, and appear to be a solid and helpful member of the community. When all you\'re actually doing is making all the noise that has been made before.
Back on topic... we used to get Vanilla Coke here, maybe we still do. Everyone I spoke to said that the first sip or two was nice, then it got decidedly bland. The once I tried it, I agreed with them - bland.

I always used to drink Vanilla Coke until it got \'bland\' and then i\'d switch back to normal coke, which after a while would get kinda \'bland\' too, then i\'d go back to vanilla. Not only did it keep vanilla tasting as it does the first time you have it, but it also made you appreciate normal coke again, as though you haven\'t had it in ages.
Then I realised how much caffeine I was putting into my body, and I would get headaches that would go away if I drank coke, and I thought \"Thats f**ked up\". So I went completely off it for a while (got shakey hands and everything) and now I can just have a can every now and then. Mostly I substitute with Sprite, or L&P (a New Zealand soft drink produced by coca cola). I feel a lot better for it too.
