Ive hit the whites with another highlight, and am verry pleased with result, although it doesnt show on camera too well,
Ive clipped the blue jem things whith white at the same time, and it seems to work quite well.

RECOMMEND A SUPER GLUE!!!

Im after a little expert help from you guys, Was doing a little work on the rifle when the arm snapped off, THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME IVE BROKE THIS MINI!
Ive tried 3 upto now, and the glues i am using are not really SUPER glues

Can anyone recommend a super glue or two part epoxt that will stick metal to metal, Thanks in advance.

I dont really want to pin the mini, drilling big holes in minis is more my style :wilt:

for me pattex or loctite superglues worked the best. BUT I'd still pin those parts to make sure it won't come off.

as for the mixing in the bootlegs to the normal minis: in a way it's a good idea, as it shows a lot more, than only the part, that's the bootleg. But I think the stlyes of the 2 are slightly different (it may be only my perception), so I would never want to get them mixed.

+To be honest I don't really see, how your rendition turned out, the pic is too small for me to see the details.

Thanks Maxx, ill pick up some loctite tomorrow and see how that goes, think ill try n pin the next one as well.

the bootleg to normal is the same scale, the arms are direct replacement, even have the same socket, but it leaves them in a funny position,
legs were a different matter, some greenstuff needed here,

Ill post some close up shots as soon as.

The shadows on the white looked ok IRL, but didnt realy show up on camera (Maybe too subtle)
So ive gone over the shadows, do they need darkening even more?
Also started highlighting the pilots flesh, anyone know a good thread on painting faces this small? especially eyes/make up.

PS: thanks maxx, the glue isnt loctite, but contains cyanoincralite(or something to that effect) is like loc tite n sticks real good, no breakages so far!

Also if anyone can vote on the necromancer (when CMON update) , it will be greatly appreciated:
I wont be upset if anyone leaves any photo tips ;)

Tried painting the face, and not too pleased with how its come out,
The closer i look, the more she looks like the joker from batman.
Will it do , or is she destined for the paint stripper?

Yeah she need a rework on the make up. Less definition on female faces help them look soft and young. The lips look great, so do the eyes, but the eye shadow and highlights on the cheeks and under the eyes need to be toned down a bit. No need to strip her, just a few glazes to soften those areas with your mid tones should work.

Have put a glaze over the girls face to tone down highlights, have also glazed part of her legs.

Have added another layer of highlights to the necromancer also, photoed him on a black background an i can see the highlights a bit better than the blue background.

Think im gonna call these two done and make a start on scarface, hope u like the pics. J.

I'd keep it simple just 2 transitions blended into each other. One is the lightest shade to base color, then the base to a darker base mix. As it's a female face I'd avoid really dark shadows.

As for tutorials: why don't you go with Giraldez's tutorials on infinity figures? (he is the official painter, so it can't get much better).

especially these three:

and altough it isn't in the tutorials, but the face is show really well (+colors are listed): http://studiogiraldez.blogspot.de/2011/02/shinobu-kitsune.html
