Inkjet Decals

Has anyone used the inkjet decal sheets and has feedback to give me regarding tips etc. My knowledge of this product stops at the instructions on the front of the pack.
What have you used them for and did you stumble accross any great sites for graphics to print on them?

I have just bought a pack of them on a whim and seeing as they were not the cheapest purchase I have made I don\'t want to have them lying around unused.:)
Eventually I will get around to doing my own thing with them but I am always interested in what others do too.

I am open to all information anyone has to offer on this subject so even if you think it is minor I would like to hear about it.

I\'ve used the inkjet decals quite a a bit. I got them so I could make my own Chapter iconography for my Space Marine army (Space Tigers). Thus, all my decals have been very small. I don\'t know of any sites with great graphics, though, because I drew all my symbols myself, then scanned and reduced them. For example, here\'s a picture of my Chapter symbol:

What I\'ve found in using them is that they apply more invisibly than commercial waterslide transfers, but the ink can crack or smudge if you rub the decal too much. I\'ve had a lot of practice carefully pressing straight down without smudging, and still I often have to apply a few spots of black where the ink cracked a bit. They aren\'t the easiest tool in the world to use, but I\'m glad I invested in them. The looks on people\'s faces when they think I\'ve freehanded 100 tiny Chapter emblems, all exactly the same, is priceless! lol

Thanks for that info ... just the sort of thing that I was looking for and might save me a headache when the time comes for me to use them.
