I like this bit:

No convicted, but I wonder how many were charged? Or even how many were arrested?

Puns aside, sexual crimes is a pretty weird area of the law.

Here was a fun story from a year or two ago.

Man and woman have a sexual relationship but never marry. It ends badly.
Woman then finds out man tested positive for HIV.
Woman sues man for \"reckless endangerment\" and \"assault with a deadly weapon\".

Man\'s defense: You cannot sue a co-criminal for injuries sustained during the commission of the crime - and in Virginia, sex with someone while not married to that person is a crime, so you can\'t sue me.

Of course the VA court said the law, which had been on the books since around 1780 but had NEVER been used to charge anyone, was unconstitutional, so the guy lost.
