Inquisitor Lord(et) mk2

Hi guys!
I have been working on a huge apocalypse inquisitorial army lately (Grey Knights, Imperial guard, Imperial Navy, Sisters of Battle and a Warhound Titan all in one =P) and i want a inquisitor lord that reflects the might of this army.

About a year ago i built the first version of her after finding this as inspiration:

After a bunch of looking around i finally went for this guy as a base

Edit: Pic was abit dominant taking over the post and seeing how its not just a concept pic (kinda) i took away the img tags..

Anyway so i decided i wasn't happy with her in the end and im making a new one that will be better in just about every way.

Now my greenstuff modeling skills aint the best so i always try to base my conversions on pre-made models as much as i can but im having some trouble on this one.

First of all i dont want to make a replica of the first one, so im thinking about going for wings this time and maybe some other tweeks but im having real trouble finding good models to base her on, especially seeing how it seems that no one at GW has actually been near a real female in years so all there models look well.. horrible..

Im a big fan of Elmore Masterworks over at http://darkswordminiatures.com/ but non of there minis are "perfect" for it so i guess i will go for a mix of 2 or 3 models, maybe even from different places. Most of all i want to make her look more feminine then the last one without loosing the forceful look the SM parts give her..

Anyone got any good ideas? Got a budget of about 50 bucks -.^

can't see the image shack pic, (Please post it here, so we all can see it :smile-big: ) but say the new blood angle models are out in april with a couple really nice winged minis, maybe a Privateer press war caster? May be closer scale to any GW. Infinity has some nice models as well, although Im not sure how good they're heads look. Maxmini is another one that I think that I've seen something that may work for you.

Hi Chrome!! ^_^

Im at school rigth now but im trying to fix the link, must have broken when i thingyd yesterday, she had some misshapps during construction tho so i finally had to do a quick fix that didnt work to well due to dremel related exidents, il post a better pick (where shes highlighted also) in afew H when i get home.

Edit: Looks like the link to that pic actually died last nigth after i had posted it here, oh well, give me 4h and il fix a new one ^^

The paintong is quite bad as I think you need to blend a bit more your highlights and to dilute your paint but I like the conversion from Sigvald, strange but I like.

Naaaaa thats mostly just a optical illusion from the carmera, they tend to make color edges sharper and give the model a higher contrast then they got IRL, however yes, i should have smother transitions to the highlights (and alittle thinner paint =P), unfortunately im not the most patient painter out there xD

Haha yeah and i guess the camera angel didn't help on making them look smaller =p


Anyway i would really appreciate some ideas on specific models i could use, im more of a math guy then a artist -.^
