Inquisitor Valdez + help request

I painted this little fella last week as an experiment, managed to get through it in one evening. I was very pleased with the result and decided to go over some of the dodgy bits again, but seeing Migsula\'s Eisenhorn + retinue has inspired me to push on with an entire crew of Inquisitorial guys, so I don\'t think I\'ll be revisiting this mini any time soon.

He is based on a character in the Deathwing anthology, though I\'ll probably bump him down to acolyte or something when I\'ve painted some more of the retinue.

My request for anyone who has read this far is to improve the pics and create a montage . Last time I requested this for an Ork both Einion and Spacemunkie were kind enough to oblige, I would appreciate it if any of you guys (or anyone else) could knock something up for me, the current photo package I\'m using is micrografx and I haven\'t got a clue how to use it, plus I\'m using my old camera too. I get some better pics at the end of the week though.

Pick out a couple of good shots from the angles you want and send them by mail (if the file size is large, send a separate mail for each file).

ok here\'s the finished article, much respect to Ritual for patiently crafting my rubbish pics into something decent! I\'m very happy with this new style of painting for the most part, I think I will be able to increase my gallery size a bit over the next few months, so look out for more pics in the near future.

A very well painted model, although its difficult for me to imagine him as anything more than an imperial officer, just doesn\'t \'feel\' like an inquisitor to me, but tis just my opinion!

Great painting though, scored him an 8, I would have liked to see the bionic eye lense more gem like but thats just personal preference again.

Yes, the eye is one of the weaker spots. I feel it should really be green, and more gem like in appearance. Maybe I will tidy up some bits later after all, I\'ll see how the project progresses, for now I\'m happy despite the imperfections, which is a change of direction for me. Drink fr all !:beer:

Your photos weren\'t actually bad at all (except for the jpg-compression) and I didn\'t need to do much. Just adjust levels and paste it on the gradient background.

Did the vote thing! It\'s a nice looking mini. I like the simple, but crisp, freehand. The face could do with some further highlighting to pick out the facial features a bit more, but genereally I think this mini looks great.
