If I had an oop mini could I use instant mold to make another? would it be big enough to make a 25 / 30 mm figure?
Thanks,

In theory you could do this, although you might have difficulty in getting the mould to the right shape to capture all the detail properly.

What were you thinking of casting the copy in?

You could, but like Einion said it's really difficult to make more than a one sided copy of anything. And since instant mold is heat sensitive, you'd be limited to putty to cast in.

If you want to cast it in resin you probably want to use something like oomooo 25

My boyfriend who is a pro sculptor uses this to make molds of pieces he needs to cast multiples of. There are a ton of videos on that site that will show you how to make a 2 part mold.

Smooth-Cast 300 is a great resin we have used a lot for this.

Task 6 is often used to make action figure parts and should work for miniatures. (i've used task 5 but it sets to fast for smaller pieces)
