instrumentalists and music in general (yes i know i go for boring topic names)

what instruments can people play ( if any at all ) I can play cello, sax and bass guitar. Anyone else ( except u bill because i already know ) also, musical tastes. favourite bands etc.
I do in general like new music, but i have some slightly old stuff, e.g. Blur and chillis greatest hits:bouncy:

Keyboard (especially synth), tinwhistle, percussion, and.... ACCORDION! celtic-style piano-accordion, that is. Also learning the Uillean Pipe.
My favorite artist would have to be Martyn Bennett, a pioneer in fusing Gaelic and Arabic melodies with urban beats and techno-style looping! Check out http://www.martynbennett.com/
Also enjoy Ivan Hajek (the coolest piano-accordion player ever!), most movie soundtracks, Howie Day, Annie Lennox, The Bothy Band, Coldplay, Van Morrison...and the list goes on and on.

i play the electric guitar and i like death/black metal. My favourite bands are Morbid Angel, Dimmu Borgir and Immortal. Favourite song: Tormentor of christian souls. (and no, i DON\'T worship satan)

Alto Saxophone. Left Michigan State University Marching Band last year but I am still killer. I love Metal and Rock. Everything else is ok MINUS country. God that is some god awful crap.

try string bends with finger tapping and pull offs

Did you know Dimmuborgir is a place in Iceland? Ive been there. I dont think they would have gotten so much success without that name. It means Dark city

Flute, violin, clarinet, a little piano, a little bass guitar, little drums (as long as they are set up left handed lol). Can knock a tune out of most woodwind and stringed instruments

Cant play - Brass instruments. Can\'t keep blowing raspberries at an instrument like that, its rude (poor buggers)

I can play a CD and its usually heavy metal but not the screaming no name brand stuff I mean the 70s heavy metal. Or is that psycodelic metal.

I think all the musical talent skipped a generation cause my kids all play musical instruments.
