Cool, nice to see the whole family joining in. For the gnoll, I\'d say that it looks good, but the lighting is a bit too harsh...the upper surfaces are a bit washed out, while the others are too dark. Try to move the light so that it\'s facing the mini head on a bit more..Or something, maybe they just need to be a bit further away. The shadowrun orc looks quite cool, neat model, nice metallics, and I like the vehicle paintjobbie. The pic could stand to be a bit larger, though, as it\'s a big model. The wizard is definitely the best. Great blues, great purples, and nice freehand. :) Keep posting \'em!

I am in agreement with Nelson there not a bad start overall Magnus is definately the best out of the three for me.
The talent is quite obviuosly there it just needs to be refined. With practice it will only get better.
Welcome to the mad world that is Cmon.

a family that paints together, stays together...

Welcome to the forums indeed.

I think the Shadowrun orc is the best of the bunch. I\'d suggest though, a larger picture, then stack them vertically (that would allow the image to be bigger)...
Great skins tones and cool color compostition.

I think the paint is too thick on the Gnoll, and like Nelson said, the light too harsh.

On Magnus..I like the purple robes and the runes, but it seems to be kind of \"washed out\" by maybe too much drybrushing.

I\'d suggest for all of your minis some blacklining. It would help things have a bit more \'pop\'.

Keep up with the posts, it is always good to have new insights here.

Stop her pocket money!

Joking aside, I have to agree with the previous commentators. The Shadow run Orc on the bike is the better of the figures and could do with a slightly larger and vertically stacked pic. Magnus looks Ok and I know what an absolute swine purple is to try to do.

Welcome to the forums, we hope to see more of you on here, if you can ever pry the keyboard out of Becca\'s hands that is. lol

Wow! I appreciate all of the kindness and welcoming words. It\'s funny, I\'m actually the one that got them all started in the hobby. I actually had to bribe Becca into painting minis (at 100 xp each) because I had so many unpainted monsters that I wanted to see paint on. But they\'ve all picked it up and ran with it, and put me to shame with their skills.
Once I was the master, now I am but a learner...:)
As to the Orc, I put him side by side because the stacked version was so big and showed such detail. Too much detail, for my tastes, in so much as comparing my efforts to the artwork found here is concerned.
