hey CMON...

here\'s another old mini for the gallery...
this is one of the last things i did in amsterdam before comin\' back to this side of the pond...
put together sometime in \'01, i counted about 22 parts goin\' into the construction of this guy...
the chest is from the iron warriors kit...
the cog is from the inq. scale tech-priest...
the scroll and skull on his leg are carved from the front plate of the plastic dread...
the fist is from the chaos kit, with the star and exhausts carved off...the star was covered with the crux terminatus from the dread kit...
the knife is from the space wolves kit...
the backpack is from the black library l.e. leonidas, and the bolter is from another special edition captain...
the necron bits are from the destroyer sprue...

i finally slapped some paint on him at the end of \'02, and he\'s one of the few old minis that has stood the test of time, as he was a finalist in the open category at games day l.a. this year...

Good stuff, an army of these guys would look great i\'m sure. Really want to see some of your more recent painting now.

The white gun casing is really nice. Also the base is nice too

Overall good job, could have converted him to have some more bionics, and possibly paler skin to show his furthered augmentations.

Still a really nice piece matey

Sharp stuff, bud. Do you have an army from this theme? I think this scheme would translate really well to an army on the table top.

i plan to paint a small force of iron hands to sell...it wil be a slow project though, as i\'ve quite workin\' for companies and takin\' commissions...it\'s been 5 years since i got to paint more than maybe 1 mini a year that i wanna paint...
i\'ll mostly be paintin\' single minis for sale, with two qualities, gamer\'s and collector\'s...
marines in general(iron hands, space wolves, and salamanders) are my favorite minis, so i plan to eventually do a small force of each to sell...

i don\'t play any miniature games, so i\'m not in a rush...
