Five times before, scores of painters from across the globe have entered into this gruel-fest....We\'ve only had 4 different winners. This ain\'t for the weak!

That looks like a lot of fun. I think I\'d like to give it a shot. I have no illusions but sometimes it\'s real fun to stretch your painting legs and reach for that brass ring.

Do we need to be a member of the Wyrd forum to take part? Is it a good idea to?

Cheers Scott, I have had a go before, but its stressfull, I usually paint one reasonable figure a year lol

Do it baby..... It\'ll be fun! Sorry, didn\'t know you\'d done one before.

I\'m looking very forward to it. I am not optimistic but I think the 2 week time slot favors what I laughingly would call my \"style\".

It\'s a nice forum over there as well.

I\'m tempted to try and enter... but I have a couple questions~

When does it start? and... what do you mean by \"themes?\" I\'m a little confused as to what that means~

It \'starts\' Jan 23.

Basically the theme is a randomly chosen (by me) idea that the painters try to incorporate into their work.

It may be an overall idea, just as \'Paint it Black\', or an actual painting technique \"Metallic\".

The idea is that the artist interprets the theme the way they want to for their piece, but ultimately 25% of their score is determined by it.
