Iron Warriors Terminator Conversion

So I had this idea to take the smoke stacks from a dreadnought (that EC Dread conversion), file them down, and attach them to a Terminator. One thing lead to another and suddenly I found myself getting plasticard crazy. Turns out I\'m converting an Iron Warriors marine. Still need some wires and such of course -- but I think it\'s off to a good start.

Okay, time for me to stop sitting here at the table - I didn\'t expect to do any more after posting earlier but...

So, what do folks think - go with the big gun and just be over-the-top or scale it down and stay with the storm bolter?

How\'d you do the Buzzsaw blade ...? A million cuts in platicard?? it looks sweet and do you actually do anything else other than keep trying new conversions..I\' sure you have a dose of Conversion Fever

The model is in no state for showing off - but I didn\'t want to quit for the night without another update... mostly to chronicle the fact that I really should have done something else with my day off. Oops.

And, yes, the buzzsaw is a million snips in plasticard

Gotta love the fever...

Things I already know:
I need to clean up the yellow/black stripes
There is no highlighting
Looks like there\'s extra glue on the updated bionic leg
The flamer is missing

Otherwise - what do you all think of the conversion at this point? LOTS left on the painting side of it, of course.

If it were mine though I would have gone for a more bionicy type head than a skull though, but thats just me. Nice job!

I agree with OrkyDave, the skull just isnt very Iron Warriors tbh, but other than that looking very promising

Doing Battle damage chips and scratches etc really helps the finished look of the hazard stripes.....
and I will say agin....Small gun....

What\'s interesting to me is how the smoke stacks fit so well on the terminator. Love the idea with the buzzsaws.....i have to agree that the skull doesn\'t look like it belongs. After doing all the great work, choosing the skull seems very last minute and rushed just to finish it. And I say go with the big gun and somehow make it his arm, not holding it.

The 3-bits-of-wire leg looked a bit bare

Looks good except for the tings you mentioned I think it is a great conversion and the paint is coming along as well.
