It used to be good for me, then about 5 years ago I used a fresh can and the effect was a nasty coat of varnish.
I\'ve heard people say that they produced a bad batch (or several), I\'ve heard that they changed the formula and it is all crap now, some people also say the effect comes from not using it properly (that it is too cold, or hasn\'t been shaken properly, which I disagree with as I\'ve tried a warm, well shaken can on a test model).
I haven\'t varnished in a while but I\'m thinking of getting a can of varnish tomorrow, but if I want testors I\'ll have to mail order it, and I\'ve found valejo and humbrol to be too glossy (I thought revell was ok, but someone told me it eventually goes yellow).
