Ok, this is just a sketch, done over lunch. Just to forewarn criticism: I know, font is crappy. On my notebook I have a very limited collection of fonts so it is here more or less as a placeholder. This is done in Corel Draw and therefore exist as a vector file and could be saved in essentially any format known to humanity.

Chern, if there is interest I can polish this picture. Personally I prefer red and green, but it is a matter of taste. I can make several variants with different colors.

Ok, the forum and the site are displaying the alternate color we're trying. It's too military for my tastes though, and looks very bad against a black background. I personally prefer brighter colors myself.

Can't say I like it either atm. Right now the ads are more apparent than the logo and that doesn't feel quite right. I'd wanna brighten it up a bit. ^^

what you have now - straight red/blue, plus Sky/earth NMM font is the best so far

Change they grey stroke around the whole thing to black, use a bright red and lose the khaki colour.

Personally I'd use sky blue and golden yellow...

And you need to do a version with the brushes to the left of the logotype and make the logotype much larger to fill the space...

Hi Chern Ann. Would the T-shirts just be bulk runs in basic size/shapes? would there be an embroidered bowling shirt option?

I had considered, that should I ever attend a con, I could do up a white T-shirt with "CMON", beneath it my Avatar, beneath it "BPI" down the front. In the vague hope strangers (you lot) might come up & say hello And it's just a picture of a Zombie Rabbit for anyone who doesn't recognise the acronyms. So could you do custom jobs? CMON, Avatar, USER: xxx

Just a thought depending what your supplier can offer (plus I'm a tightwad & would probably just do my own in marker anyway )

Why not start a thread in the subscribers lounge, with 10 or so new logos and vote on them down to the top three, then put those three out for a general vote, gotta be quicker than popping the odd one at the top of the page now and again, surely

The new one, to me, is evocative of both Star Wars and Warner Bros Cartoons. Dunno if that's neccesarily bad, it sure is pretty with the colour palette and design elements, but not sure it's fulfilling the role of strong site identity relating to the hobby.
