Hi everybody, I\'d like to ask a question to the ancient ones ruling trhe wonderfull world of CMON :
I would like to save the pics posted by the members in order to sort them and keep those with details or painting technics I find interesting to experiment.

Of course I can browse them and save one by one with my internetexplorer, but that would be a gretchin\'s work....

Is it a way to get them all with one click !!!!

(Shame shame, me lazy ass... :~(

I don\'t think there is a way to do that, and I think that something like that would end up being a huge bandwidth drain and would end up making it even more expensive to run the site.

I think you\'re better off browsing and sorting by your vote, so you can see what you ranked as the best on the site. (Which may or may not be the techniques you want to play with...)

I\'ve already kinda done that to a few pics, but my gues is that it\'s okay as long as you\'re not going to send it into contests or anything. Plus, when you save pics, you can figure out the colors better with the eyedropper in photoshop and whatnot. I keep mine in a folder called \"Study\" and that\'s all I do. They sit right there, just like they sit right here... only problem is that the names have no correlation to the pic, because they are sorted by date.

what you need is a photo gallery program. try \"thumbs+\" or \"cumulus\".
hope that helps...

Reference pics

Well, whenever I see a special pic displaying any interesting detail/technique, I usually right click on them to save it to my hard drive, on my References folder. When asked for a file name, I usually select the detail that interested me (eg. Gold NMM sword, circular bases, etc.). The saved pics are organized later into albums, and then I add some sort of comment or description for future queries.

This system works for me because I usually save, on average, 0.5 pics per session at CMON, but it all depends on how many pics interest you at a given time.
