thanks guys :)

@demon herald, the static grass was bought ages ago, it\'s the same stuff as gw. the larger length grass is field grass this time, cut to length. (it\'s more expensive than wild grass but gives better results.)

i get most of my bits from antenicities workshop nowadays.

You can get a large variety of grasses and stuff from Antenociti\'s Workshop, although I don\'t think they stock wild grass. You can get that from EC Scenics.

antenocities stock the wild grass in loose form and matt form nowadays after i spoke to him about it :)

he\'s realy going to town with the amount of quality products he\'s stocking nowadays (it saves me a fortune in postage as i can stock at one place now :) , and i\'m not even earning commision on this lol )

I\'ve bought loads of stuff from there already, and I haven\'t finished a mini yet. lol

Cool little scene, the grass around the tombs is really authentic.
I reckon youre losing the contrast in the photos, if that\'s not the case, then the individual figures could do with an extra level of shading.
I like the humour you\'ve introduced, would the zombies be one of the women\'s husband and children?

it\'s slightly washed out as my lamp isn\'t quite powerfull enough for my light tent, yet it\'s too powerfull on it\'s own lol

thanks for the compliments mate :)

Awesome work. The greenery is something else and would have taken some time. Did you make the ivy yourself or did you buy it like that all strung together? I can just imagine sitting there gluing each and every leaf onto the wall...lol.

Don\'t you just hate it when that happens?!

Bloody Necrophiles meddling in things they do not comprehend! lol

It\'s an awesome scene, loving the grass and graves. Creativity at its best ;)

thanks guys :) it will be quite a while before i can get proper pics tho as i need stronger lighting for my light tent.
without the tent things sometimes get washed out, which is what happenend here.

@bullfrob, yep, they ivy stems were first glued in place and then painted, then the leaves were glued on one by one then glazes were used to change the tone from warm to cold. (unfortunately that effect has been lost in the crappy photograph)

Pictish Mini Painting

I'm actually a man!
I really like a nice diorama, i used to do WW2 ones a few years back when uni allowed days off in the week.

This is really colourful and has a really good story to it.

Great stuff
