to read the scores awarded to your mini...its okie to hide the voters but at least provide a viewing of the scores.

Well, what happened was I posted a mini recently (actually my first and cos my friend so happened to have a digital cam) and this was the scenario:

13 votes : 7.1 average score
15 votes : 6.8 average score

Which means that, if based on a straight line average for each vote, the total will be:

13 votes : 7.1 x 13 = 92.3 in total
15 votes : 6.8 x 15 = 102 in total

That means that the last 2 votes in total is only 9.7 and the average will be 4.85!

Now, I remembered reading somewhere in the forum that the scoring isn\'t so simple and that\'s a weighted average assignment. But if that\'s the case, then these last 2 voters would have given me a lower score (even 1!) cos it cause the overall to drop by an average of 0.3!

Nay, I ain\'t blowing my top cos my scoring dropped (frankly, if I\'ll at this site so long and hadn\'t placed any mini to be voted, that goes to show that it doesn\'t matter if my minis are recognised at all - or maybe i\'ll just lazy :D ) but I am really puzzled by the scoring system here.

Don\'t panic Mr Mannering

Hi Mouse!

A case of premature calculation here I\'m afraid. You will do yourself no good at all trying to make sense of your scores until a certain \'critical mass\' has been achieved. I would suggest about 100 votes. This will cancel out votes of 10 from your mum and votes of 1 from the visiting schoolboys who just like to do that sort of thing.

My guess is that some one has given you a 1 or 2 simply cos you used the wrong shade of green, it isn\'t a GW model and only GW deserve more than 1 or you p*ssed someone off in a forum.

Don\'t worry. Sh*t happens and rogue scores will be averaged out.

ps. Don\'t forget to ask your mum to vote (hint).:bouncy:

bout time

I was wondering when you would post some minis...

I finally posted a few pics this month, but can never be happy with what I get. I really don\'t get the photography thing very well.

I love the way your photo turned out, very nice and bright, mine look too dark.

Please post more!

PS... What brush did you use to paint that with, Bertha or Nancy? :D:D:D:D

Hmmm...

There have been a few occasions recently when the idea of mouse and a hand held power tool have shared the same space in my mindlol:bouncy:lol

clarify

A product made by BLACK AND DECKER is a hand-held sander/polisher/cleaner. The brand name is \"the Mouse\".

But, just to clarify, it is neither furry or cute. :bouncy:

Black & Decker Illuminati at work

Strangely, now that Lurch posted a picture on this thread which points to \"blackanddecker.com\" that site tried to cookie my computer when I opened this page.
