ISO Washington State Painting buddy

Greetings CMONers,

I currently work at Joint Base Lewis McChord in Washington state. I am looking for someone, preferably whose painting skills are greater than my own, who would like to paint together. I've looked around for painting clubs and such and all I have found are a couple groups that paint 15mm historical figures. I personally paint anything 28mm ish fantasy. I just think I could grow a lot more as a painter if I had someone to look at my work in real time. And the inverse is true too, I think I could offer someone a lot of advise on my end. I actually life in Olympia WA, but would commute as far as Seattle. Olympia has the famed Olympic Comic and Cards, the largest gaming structure on the West Coast. Anyway, if interested or you have any tips for finding a painting group, plz respond.

Sorry I cannot help, but I will say that you are on the right track. The biggest leap I ever made in my painting skills was after spending time painting with other painters. Post a note at the local game shop and see if you can get a group up. Even if you are the best painter there, you'll be surprised at how much you learn when you have to teach.
