Hey all,
not sure if this has been discussed before but I have experienced a problem with GWs Imperial Purple and the use of Woodland Scenics water effects. What happened was, I have been working on a jungle base for my carnasaur and I painted the rocks in thin layers of purples, greys and greens. Now I left that to dry and then applied some water effects in the hopes of creating a waterfall. Unfortunately, as the water effects dried, the purple was leached out and became incorporated into the waterfall, which is not what I wanted to happen.
I\'ve fixed the problem by stripping off the area and repainting using more graveyard earth tones and greens, then I gloss varnished the area and reapplied the water effects. No problems have been encountered this time.
Has anyone else experienced any problems with this colour? Is the vallejo version any better?
Thanks,
Kat
