Issues with the future

So I finally found Future floor polish in South Africa, masquerading as Mr Muscle. It\'s even got the little Future logo on it to ensure authenticity along with a delightful potpourri fragrance. Grinning and beaming with my prize, I took a whiff of this magic wash, and smelt ammonia in it. Checking the back of the bottle, yep, it\'s got ammonia in it to strip the previous layer of floor polish off.

So this begs the questions; is ammonia a problem, does the pucker Future have ammonia in it, what will ammonia do to acrylic paint already applied?

I have not used future, but I have used a similar product with ammonia in it. I have observed no impact on my miniatures after having first used an acrylic paint and a future style wash.

Okay, so I tested it, and the stuff is a mild paint stripper for acrylics but does not remove a non-acrylic undercoat. The wash does work like the magic it is supposed to be. :D

I think it\'s safe to use, since I never wash over areas already detailed and the stripping is very mild.
