It happened again!!!

Is it just me or does it happen to everybody? I was just removing the arms from these graveguard and something went pinging off into the corner.

Is it the bit I\'ve been trying to remove without completely wrecking the rest of the miniature? No, it\'s one side of the clippers that I\'m using:cussing:

I had a pair today and they are ALREADY dented abit, not heavy work either. I suggest not buying clippers from GW from now as Dragonsreach said in my thread, they are made of weak material. Unlucky my friend..

I would suggest getting some from you local tool supply, like a home depot or rona, etc. They all seem to have some really good and not too expensive clippers there. I picked up some angle clippers, for around 3.50 CAD. Far cheaper than GW.

Cheers Generul, I did think about getting some of those once upon a time but because they are offset they won\'t be much good for what I need them for. If memory serves I ended up getting a razor saw from him instead. Bloody useful bit of kit that

Or, if nothing else, try Gale Force 9\'s clippers. They have two models. The first is made for plastic and the second for metal. I have both and love them. They don\'t nick and dent like the POS GW ones.

I bought a small pair of dike\'s (har har) and ground the bottom\'s (har har) flat. Been chomping thru stuff for YEARS and they havent broken yet. Do have to be careful though. I dont cut anything harder than brass ( and thin stuff at that).

Craftsman. If you break them, take it to the store, they give you a brand new pair, no questions.

I use end nippers - got two pair - one set I rescued from a crushed bale of Hescos in the desert (smaller set that I use primarily when travelling) and a larger set from Husky that I bought when I got home - the larger set has eaten 8 penny finish nails with no problems.

If your clippers do break like this try blunting the long side because if you brace it against part of the mini the sharp short bit is great for scraping those hard to get lumps off.

Craftsman is definately a US brand - sold through Sears Stores.
