It is officially time for the human race to check out.

I checked out a few years ago and I\'m very happy I did. I hated pulling myself up in confusion, wondering if facile statements were, indeed, non-PC. Eventually I just thought fook it, and became a real person again. I hate racism and sexism but I hate this PC bullshit that plagues our every statement in workplaces or in the public domain. Utter twatishness.

I swear, they are slowly chipping away at everything fun when you are a kid, all in the name of political correctness.

I love that here in the first world, our lives are so nice that we can spend out time worrying over dumb stuff like this.

yeah i heard that too. who looks at santa and says \'i want to be like that\'?!! fuc... bloody stupid

My opinion, in brief, is as follows:

Western society is caught between the ethos that made us powerful (strict class systems, etc) and the ideals of true liberalism (in practice utter genius, but very painful getting there). Anyone see my point?

I see your point....but do you honestly think we really can get to \'true liberalism\'.

I don\'t think it is possible...

Should we stop trying? probably not.

Hmm -

Bugger that. I\'m a fat git and I smoke - and use inappropriate languange at work -

Course they made me take the Vertruvian Man down from my cube cause it offended someone - So I replaced it with the Marines raising the flag over Iwo Jima - and really want someone to complain about that one.

Some grad student was going on about this at work, all I could think was \"people are getting blown to bits, beheaded, gang raped, tortured and falsely imprisoned all over the world, and THIS gets your goat up?

I guess the big green guy will have to say \"Ha ha ha\" now too.

As for the tool, it can now be dubbed:

The flat headed, dirt scrapey tool thingy.

:D

How did the Vitruvian Man offend anyone? ???

You can see his moisture missile

Actually in this case you couldn\'t - being a bit crafty I had covered the offending bit with a small yellow strip of paper, thus not to offend the prudes I work with. This of course was seen as trying to draw attention to said offending naughty bit and thus he had to come down from the wall.

But sportsfans I have found the copy of the drawing I have and will be adding a pair of Yellow and Red Poka dot boxer shorts to cover the offending area - and will then repost the picture on my cube wall.

Funny this even came up. Because every year at about this time I tell people I need to find a porn called Ho Ho Hoes to start a holiday themed collection. I\'ll need one for christmas, one for easter, one for st. patty\'s day....

Hm, I think this would be a problem. We call these people \"politicians\" or \"top-managers\". ;)

I don\'t know - the wine had taken hold by that point!
