Does anyone know if there is such a thing as white or off white static grass and if so where can I find it? I\'m trying to make a new kind of flower (seeded milk weed and dandilions) and cotton and fiber fill isn\'t working. Thanks!

Dont know if it\'s made but you may try getting some synthetic fur, like the kind on Santa\'s hat, cut it short and see if it reacts to static.

See, that\'s why you paint better than me. You think outside the box. Thanks!

Oh, and if you have a few minutes some time I\'ve started that new OSL thread and could really use your help. Only if you have time.

White costume crepe hair. Its used for tall grass in modeling all the time. I would try a costume shop.

Its sold sort of braided and you pull it straight. Chop it up with a sharpe razor blade.

craip hair (that\'s probab;y spelt wrong) is realy curly when first pulled out.
you can straighten it with an iron, just put a cloth on it first.

Well the Gw snow is just loads of white static grass ( although its a bit smaller, so might be to small?)

Liz, I assume you\'ve been to woodland scenics site and seen the Wild Honey colored static grass? Not quite white, but very pale.

You could go get a scrap of white nylon carpet, clip it close and put the stuff in the blender or coffe grinder...

wow, so may ideas. Hmmmmm. I\'ve been challenged to come up with a realistic blown dandilion/milk wead. Not sure if I can do it. I have an idea for a mini though if I can get it done. Involves a snotling actually, and maybe a disgusted ogre.

 wonder if you could use bleach and take the color out of some static grass...... let it dry outside

I\'ve seen packs of the GW snow which are short white fibers, not ground foam or powder. We laughed at it when it was shown at my FLGS.
