Just started here... I won\'t say Yay yet...
Yay if t lays and me and my son can make our first snowman..
Boo hiss if it doesn\'t and we just end up with the usual slushy cold muddy wet crap we usually get and all the inevitable delays and mass hysteia that snow seems to cause on this Island...

Snow is such a drag...

It was cool in what I consider \"Winter\" (around christmas...)... But now... I mean, two days ago the birds started to sing, It was really great and had a feel of Spring (the kickass time of the year...) on it... But now it is cold and shit again...

Still got my AA \"Flight of your choice\" Voucher, I should have used it to fligh to Maui... Damn...

It\'s still snowing here (barely) and it has settled a bit. If it starts up properly again we might have some to play in tomorrow but I\'m not going to hold my breath.

Please excuse me if I show no sympathy.
There will still be a lot of people will HAVE to go to work regardless of the weather conditions.

 Ah for the good old school days, before real life came along and made you realize just how good you had it back then.

I live in a more or less snow-free area, to my chagrin. Haven\'t gotten any worth speaking about in at least...8 years? Even that was hardly what you\'d call a good snowfall...*maybe*2-3 inches accumulated. Of course, even the mention of possible flurries around here drives people to hoard milk and bread from the local stores.

Always amusing to watch, as long as you don\'t have to wait in the lines... :D

Stop moaning about going to work in bad weather. I cycled to work today, didn\'t check how cold it was but at the morning my gears froze and when I came back home at the evening the gears forze again and both tyres emptied halfway to home.

Today it\'s not even exceptionally cold. But we have plenty of snow. :p

Hestan101 Yeah. lol
I can\'t actually recall EVER having my schools closed because of snow.
Central heating in schools, yep we had it. It was called running around the school hall. lol

However I do remember being sent home several times from work due to snow, once getting in for 5 pm evening shift and being told all buses were being taken off the roads at 7pm. So was kicked straight back out.
