It was a cracking match for a final, really surprising that the energy levels were kept up and the tempo set so high. There were some lulls but all in all it was a corker. Italy just appeared to galvanise after the group stages and got better and better. They\'re only one world cup behind the Brazilians now (surely the flops of the tournament).

I was amazed how quiet the pub was yesterday mind you. Very strange.

And next year is the real world cup chaps and ladies...the rugby world cup lol

The first time, after the 1-0 from France, the Italian team has reacted very well and the 1-1 was fair. After that we have hit the bar one time and scored a goal (canceled by the refree for an offside of another player) and the France has played better but with just a couple of shoots that our goalkeeper managed very well (probably we have the best defence EVER seen )

This lead to the penalty roulette and Italy has just wasted too many finals in this way so this time we have our prize

Honour to France that has played a really good football and I\'m really sorry about Zidane\'s episode, he played as a world champion and then ruined all in just one second. I prefer to remember his wonderful games and forget this one.

Chelsea will have the two players with the least succesful shots-to-goals ratio of the world cup on the park next season, Lampard and Ballack! Shocker. Yet you feel they offer a lot more than just goals, so I can\'t see any Chelsea fans being worried. Ballack looked tidy every time he played. That ball was a bit gay though
