make them take \"the dumb test\" did this with my tutor group and got to laugh at them when they got all the questions wrong!

and summer break is a myth - teachers dont get that long off (was gutted when i found out )

How long you been teaching?

You do develop strategies to deal with shitheads (or you quit....), but the job will never be as rewarding as it can be in that sort of environment I can tell you now.

At least I never had guns to worry about

Oh, a funny story you say?

A girl who was being a reet pain in the arse (gobshite!) and had been told to stop and concentrate on what she was doing ignored my advice.

She put a machine stitch right through her thumbnail/thumb and out the other side. I enjoyed filling that incident form out
