In a hole in the ground there lived a Hobbit.

Not a dark dank hole, but a Hobbit hole, and that meant comfort.

Until large burly men decided to start stuffing their balls into the hole, and insisting it should count as points.

and it looks like a few of them are a little too young to be raping and pillaging.

In a shocking turn of events, Boromir was ultimately disqualified from the dwarf toss when it was found that his instrument was, in fact, a hobbit on steroids.

Concerning hobbits.
Hobbits have been living and farming in the four Farthings of the Shire for many hundreds of years, quite content to ignore and be ignored by the world of the Big Folk. Middle-earth being, after all, full of strange creatures beyond count, Hobbits must seem of little importance, being neither renowned as great warriors nor counted among the very wise.
This is very much intentional, for, in fact, Hobbits are the greatest full contact chess players in all of Middle Earth.

\"Ahhh, this section has many volumes by different authors on the progression of one Gimli into instituting Hobbits instead of Dwarves in the \"Dwarf Toss\", claiming Hobbits are lighter and formidably more aerodynamic.\"lol

After China was disqualified for using 13 year old gymnasts (who have an unfair advantage due to lower center of gravity) in 2008, it\'s suprising that Michael Devling would even Attempt to enter Hobbits in 2012. We\'ll have to wait and see what the judges have to say about this one.
