It's snowing!

I've lived through five blizzards, dozens of major snow storms, and have seen meters upon meters of snow in 20 years of Pennsylvania. I'm glad you loved the sight of it Liz, but I have to be honest.

F^ck snow! F^ck snow and it's bastard children that are sleet, slush, and the ever deadly 'black as Margaret Thatcher's heart' ice that sends countless soccer mom's skidding into my backside in the least pleasant sense possible. F^ck the Noreaster that keeps coming back from the coast in a continuous onslaught of cute fluffy snow of doom, which sends me out with shovel and salt to toil in misery only to do so again the next day. And above all, F^ck freezing rain. That which pelts you with icy needles and then saps the energy from your bones as you slip on the slick spittle of the sky.

I want a muffin.

I think he needs something hot that warms from the inside out as well. Something that soothes both the chill and the soul...

We all need that unfortunatly we're all too far apart and many too commited (in many ways) to be of any help. Poor thing.

Okay, I've had my muffin and coffee. I've done some work, chatted with the wife, and have calmed down significantly. Thank you for the suggestions Liz, Donna, and Chrome. Now that I'm calm I'll admit that snow can be quite pleasant and cheerful, especially when the kids-when the kids build-you know, snow man thingies...

No, no! Can't do it! Can't do it! F^ck snow!

Oh, and just got a call from Haley. Some jackass in a truck just ran into the power box on the corner of the property. Now we have no power. I'm going to meet her at the coffee shop and get another muffin.

Well Miz Pony, looks like it's time to brake out the hot chocolate.

Looks like we're working on another couple of inches to refresh the snowpack after this weekends rain/sleet. And here I worked on the cutting down the banks along the driveway so the snow blower could throw into the neighbors lawn. Sometimes I think that Mother Nature luvz to see me work unnecessary.
