BALLSCRATCHER
A couple of days ago "the wife" surprised me!!! so this goes out to all those out there who have the good fortune like me to have that most ellusive of things "the love of a good woman" and also as bit of a homage to "the ball n chain".

Enough of the soppy talk i hear you cry what was the surprise? Well the surprise was a shiney new Subaru impreza 2.5 WRX type D, there was me thinking christmas had come and gone. The car isnt the point im trying to make, its this the effort, expense and most of all the thought that went into what she did for me, even though she did say "i thought you better have something like this before you become too old a fart to carry it off" is the most important thing.

Some would say its the little things that matter, sometimes though the big things help you appreciate the little ones even more. Im the first to admitt that when i had the misfortune to stray into the forest of mental illness she was the one that pulled me through despite the seven kinds of hell i put her through.
Anyway look over at your particular pain in the onions and give her a smile n tell her how much she means to you, i have;)

Mate a scooby!! I envy you! Those things go like vaseline smeared shit off a shiney shovel!

Plus im only down road in Belfast so if you wanna joy ride il join you in my stupid people carrier cus the M3 is GONE. lol

Its good to know you are loved, same with my ball and chain!

Bit late for that ain't it? ;P

Flippin fast car, better getting them now before the petrol goes up even more. Had a mate who had one, went trhough £100 petrol a week and that was about 5 yrs ago so much cheaper then

Blimey, I've banned my wife from buying me anything by surprise after the last two efforts.

1st: The campest looking T-Shirt on the planet...........I took one look at it and said "you're having a laugh".

2nd attempt: Something practical to help me through life.............a f**king Tie Rack.

It is the thought that counts, but sometimes a little more thought would save on buying shit.

i would love a tie rack tbh! have tons of em, and atm i´m using regular closett hangers, takes up soo much space. so if any of yall are buying me a secret admirer(aka stalker)-gift, you know what to get!

Yeah I asked for a tie rack once. Handy

Edit - Not any more though, about a year after that they changed our uniform from shirts, ties and overcoats to tunics. Thankfully it was *just* before I spent a few hundred on a laod of tailored shirts!

Don't get me wrong......I hang my ties on it..........but a gift as an affection of love (seriously)

That's like me going "Happy valentines babes, here's some granny pants.....they'll come in useful to tuck your boobs in when you're older"!!
