Jack The Ripper Diorama

As a Final Work assignment for my Storytelling course I had to capture the mood I´d created from one of my earlier works I did for Storytelling. What´s a better way to capture a mood than making a diorama? I decided to base my diorama on a story of Jack The Ripper I wrote. The lower part of the diorama presents a prostitute waiting for the men of Whitechaple to come out of the pubs and spent a few sherling on her. It\'s a cold night in a abbonend alley. The wind blows an old newspaper around, the streetlight which she stands under is broken, a perfect oppertunity for the Ripper...
The upper part presents a Ripper crime-scene. It\'s also a dirty, abbonend ally with a broken window, a broken wall with weeds growing out of it. There\'s a Wanted poster for the Whitechaple murderer with bloodstains on it, there\'s a big bloodstain on the wall and the words Jack Was Here are written in blood on the wall....
I had only six days to make this, along with all the other school stuff I had to do, so it\'s kind off a rushjob. Build in 1 day and painted in 1 day.
There\'s no miniature of Jack the Ripper, because I couldn\'t find a suitable mini in time. But maybe that\'s for the best, the Ripper could never be captured, not even in a diorama...

I would like to hear what you think :)

As I said in my comments it\'s not the accuracy of the history that\'s important it\'s the storytelling and mood.

Thnx, that\'s exaclty what the assignment is about. I needed to capture the mood and vibe of the story of Jack the Ripper. I was really happy to use my hobby skills for a school assignment and my teacher was very open to the idea of using a diorama the capture the mood. I hope he likes it ;)
