Amplexus (Latin \"embrace\") is a form of pseudocopulation in which a male frog grasps a female with his front legs while she lays her eggs. At the same time, he fertilizes them with the fluid containing sperm.

And it\'s also not uncommon for several male to join in to the point that a female will drown with the sheer weight she attempts to carry.

Also it\'s not uncommon during the mating scrum of certain species for males to get confused, and grab onto other males. Male moor frogs in Austria turn blue during the mating season to avoid this:

The subject of male frog-on-frog action takes me back to my youth, seeing a mutt called Billy attempting to pop his bits inside another male dog. What a palaver! Also, labrador on cat action...that was potentially very messy. It was the highlight of the house party though :wow:
