No much for the face and eyes.

01/18 WIP: As the Jeanne D'arc in the Infinity world, I decided to make the armor gorgeous. The reason is that Jeanne D'arc did dress finery in the battlefield in the history record. So, I take the Iron Man style!

I did not take the ideal-type red. I mixed a little red-brown to make the armor looks heavy. In the right side, it's the first layer of the armor.

Later, I used pure with so so little red and black to mark the brightest and darkest part of the mini. This is a draft for later working. Good for imaging the figure.

Then, I dealt with detail of the red part to make the white/black less contrast. However, do keep the brightest and the darkest spots.

10665055_1612746885622185_636565889439143642_n.jpg

Mix the orange to highlight the armor. A little white for the brighter corners.

Almost done. Have a little diluted sky-blue in the holes of the armor. Let it get some "power."

01/22 WIP: Finished the red/yellow style armor. Take freehand to deal with the left shoulder armor with the Pan-Oceania and the mark of Jeanne D'arc herself on the right shoulder armor.

I dealt with the icon on the shoulders first, then with the NMM gold parts of the armor.

01/28 WIP: The hair and the base freehand.

10003871_1616914011872139_8649637724778305828_o.jpg

Mix yellow and brown as the basic color. Paint on the part of the hair.

10926317_1616914021872138_7635063010628163324_o.jpg

I added a little purple to the basic yellow I just mixed to wash the shade zone of the hair. Same to the red-brown mixed with yellow.

10450261_1616914061872134_4415077369309786041_o.jpg

Use the light yellow to deal with the high light part of the hair.

10945774_1616914068538800_2360405057589961268_o.jpg

Brighter and brighter.

10934149_1616914058538801_5419003864981108758_o.jpg

Finally, I mixed some white into the light yellow color and deal with the brightest spots.

10922313_1616914065205467_9102912278521967397_o.jpg

I did not want to take much time in dealing the base. I just drew some blue lines. Later, I used black to the side of the blue lines.

10827973_1616914055205468_8141474020648098260_o.jpg

I took the red-brown to make the black lines thinner. Then, use the white-yellow color to cover the red-brown.

1622303_1616914071872133_1931822932705406349_o.jpg

Add some shade to the base. Highlight some parts of the blue lines. Done with the base freehand.

02/04 WIP: The blue skirt, pistol, and some details.

10869419_1619866004910273_8464935860505398090_o.jpg

To paint a blue skirt, I did bot begin the work from blue theme color. I mixed black, dark sea blue, and dark green to start. You may try to paint your mini from a different dark color (not pure black!) and the mini will be much different than mono color theme!

1781306_1619865968243610_2545492250348788701_o.jpg

From the dark color I mixed, I add the blue to make it lighter. Paint the mini by the color shown in the left.

1602152_1619866021576938_6313357733990336644_o.jpg

Add more blue to make the color lighter and brighter.

10974401_1619866001576940_8600295019222647175_o.jpg

Add light blue and paint the brighter layers.

10945888_1619865981576942_1815116897392967733_o.jpg

10845869_1619866011576939_6819134052866730724_o.jpg

Continue to make the lighter layers. I got some white-grey and mixed just a little light blue. Deal the freehand on the skirt.

10626187_1619866024910271_2314212199462802109_o.jpg

Mixed some brown-yellow and grey blue to deal with those parts: the leathers, fingers, pistol as you can see.

02/05 WIP: The sword. This mini is finished.

10475884_1620863198143887_1102213053491747992_o.jpg

I planned to paint this sword in pink. However, before everything, I used the pure black and white to get the shade and light of the sword. According to this draft, I can start to paint the sword. Later, I mixed pink and grey-blue to prepare.

1978439_1620863168143890_2497729944572197705_o.jpg

The first layer of the pink-grey-blue.

10957724_1620863224810551_7911712592260033424_o.jpg

Add white to the pink. The brightest part of a metal shall be near to pure white. Beside, keep the outline of the shade/light. It is still very important.

10861053_1620863238143883_3196860377828361637_o.jpg

Keep painting with brighter and brighter color. Finally, I used a little red to make the shade zone more colorful.
