Thought I would throw this one in here for your viewing pleasure.
It seems like ages since I got real nasty with my mini painting so I decided that after all the excellent gore soaked submissions by my fellow Paintslave Lonewolf that it was about time I cracked open the Tamiya Clear Red again.

So one Jess from Hasslefree. One \"half\" zombie constructed from a head from one of Hasslefree\'s headsprues and the body sculpted by me.
Oh and a liberal dose of the good old TCR.

Seriously. The most fun Ive had in ages painting a mini.

Vote here ;-)

BTW if you like converting minis then check out Hasslefree\'s head and weapon sprues. They are great lumps of lead and its loads of fun messing with them.

I\'m not much of a hockey fan...but

isn\'t there some sort of tradition of throwing octopus onto the ice during a hockey game?? Well, this kind of sickly reminds me of that!!lol

*edit* I found this on the intrawebnetthingy....

For nearly 50 years, Hockey Fans in Detroit have been Throwing Octopi on the Ice after a big win by the Red Wings. This started on April 15, 1952 during the Red Wings\' Stanley Cup run. Two brothers, Pete and Jerry Cusimano, who owned a fish shop in Detroit Threw an Octopus on the Ice during a Hockey Game in Detroit.
Each tentacle of the Octopus was symbolic of a win in the playoffs. Back then, the NHL had just six teams and eight wins (two best-of-seven series) were needed to win the Stanley Cup. The largest Octopus to be Thrown on the Ice was a 50 pound Octopus in 1996. The Octopus was proudly displayed on the hood of the Zamboni while the ice at the Joe Louis Arena was being cleaned between periods.
