Hi all,

There was a painting contest at the MOAB tournament in Sydney over the long weekend, and these are my entries. C&C welcome. I\'ve only added one angle of each of them below as i think i saw something requesting a limit on the number of images per post here the other day, but there are alternate angles available at the links themselves.

Omoklon, Twisted Jester from Guild of Harmony - http://www.coolminiornot.com/233494

Bayou Gremlin from Wyrd Miniatures - http://www.coolminiornot.com/233493

Night Goblin Spearmen from GW (Army quality) - http://www.coolminiornot.com/233492

Hope you enjoy! Comment wise, please be as harsh as you like. It\'s the only way I\'ll learn :D.

You can add multiple angles into a single picture by creating a montage photo. There are a number of threads on the forum that\'ll show you different ways to do this. Having multiple angles generally improves your score because people can see more of the mini.

You never clicked his links, did you? :]

Nice work, all around. I like the Guild Of Harmony jester and the Wyrd gremlin the best. The night goblins are a little too much early 90s style for me with the ultra-bright colours and the goblin green bases. The face on the jester could use a bit more definition to bring out his facial features. Overall a bit more shadows would help you get a more striking look. Possibly more highlighting as well, but the shadows are what is lacking most.

Wow! It may sound weird, but your first mini actually reminded me of my own painting style.

I also think the jester is the best looking of the 3. The striped shirt is a great touch to it.

Great paint jobs Turelio

The issue with multiple images is when people submit separate images of the different angles in their gallery, one for the front one for the back and so on

you can do as many angles as you like in the forums, that way we can C&C you even harsher :D ;);)

Thanks for the feedback everyone. The contrast in the colours and lack of shadows was pointed out on the day, and looking back at my other stuff it looks like I haven\'t been going deep enough on the shadows for a while, so it is definitely something to take on board and keep in mind for next time.

That Jester doesn\'t make me laugh and feel gay....he makes me a bit nervous!!

Good stuff on all three. I really love the clay pot on the Gremlin!
