hello all i'm new to the site and want to make connects ..bout me i'm a painter sculptor of some odd decades ..i use my modeling to quell my need to sculpt .. but more of a painter of canvass. i'm part of a gaming site called star ranger combat forum .met a lot of great people there .past few years i was casting and painting star ships in resin ..twords the end i looked around and thought just star ships was shortsighted .. so i jumped in to a few 25mm older fantasy lines and started painting and modding those ..it was a good thing because i could use my knowledge of the anatomy and painting as well as design .. wanted to jump off here with some new work and will try to post some of the past for yer entertainment .. in sci fi i jumped up to 28mm ant started scratch building more than casting ,,so running low on supplies was a good thing ..it stretched me out ..started doing scenic stuff with odds and ends i held on to my balsa wood for 15 years ! its great to work with it again.foam core is fun too.so nuff.. here's a work i'm very happy with ..i'm not sure if i like the clone wars tubo tank or mine better !..that's sort of big because i like others work ..its more fun to play with it holds always some mystery for me as a sculptor ....the end game is in my mind with this tank i have a troop from u.k. maker alternate armies great line ..thats the fig in the pic ..the tank it self will be painted in a bobo fett color pallet ..but this guy might look good in many color combo's .. guys and gals keep up the great work glad to see all great and small try to have fun with it as you all go along with your own stuff hats off here
