I see it the other way round to be honest.

This Hannity guy seems very smug, and while saying that it was an honest mistake (which it clearly wasn´t), implies that the "small innocent mistake" is the only thing that john Stewart could ever attack Fox for.

He seems like a prat to me - but then again I´ve never seen anything with him except for this clip.

You're assesement isn't far off at all.

Hannity is a blow hard who will twist and distort things to appear that he is right.

I used to listen to him all the time, and while I agree with some of his thoughts, the 'we can't lose an argument' mentality is ridicolous. He will not engage in debate, especially if his position is weak.

However, on this particular incident, I'm sickened. To call a planned distortion of the facts an 'inadvertant mistake' shows me what a coward this guy is. If you are going to have egg on your face anyhow, why not fess up and say what you were really trying to do?

The real problem is that although he is just a pundit, and paid for his opinion, the Fox News Network sells him as 'news'. Most people are smart enough to know the difference, but there are just enough wackos out there to worry me.

"It was an honest mistake"

yes , of cause it was honest , because you were honest to god hoping that your audience woudn´t realise that they are manipulated by you:loser: - or how am i supposed to understand you ?

How low must the Fox people think of theyre own audience to try something so obviously and believe they come trough with it, without anybody noticing - if i were a Fox viewer i would be deeply insulted - or start yelling that this is a liberal conspiracy using photoshop to undermine the good people at Fox who are defending America from the socialist agenda.

*looks at youtube comments*

OK, i was very naiv to even consider the first possibility.:sick:

@Supervike
i agree there seems something very wrong about american news channels, not only FOX , even so theyre way of "News" is a problem imho. It seems to me after watching quite a lot of youtube videos from several big american news channels that there is not one real journalist on them, who actually goes out, does his/her research, checks the facts critically and then brings them to the audience. all i see are spindoctors, people who have tantrums like little kindergarten children on air ( you know who i´m talking about ), made up stories and people who sell they´re private opinion as facts and call everybody who doesn´t agree eweither unamerican or stupid, ect...

However, on this particular incident, I'm sickened.
You know what made me sick? The guy in the crowd with the huge banner showing a photo showing a pile of bodies in a concentration camp with the words "socialised health care " on them.
Just how sick does someone have to be to use a photo of vicitims of the Nazi regime like this? Human dignity doesn´t end with death, even when you´re gone , nobody has the rigth to use photos of your body to further his/her political agenda.

EDIT: sorry for the typos, but i´m not i´m not on top of my game today ( bronchitis) corrected most of them,me think
