im trying to improve my contrast and am attempting nnm for the first time o this mini.

Also can someone tell me how to get the pics to display in my post and not just ave a link?

in your photobucket account there should be 4 codes in 4 boxes copy the code in the bottom box and but that in your post and your pic will appear

ive made some progress on josef.

just pics taken quickly so thats y there not the best quality

nmm axe and beard- the photo has washed out the colours of the beard. its actually got shading in real life

and the reverse of the axe- it took me 3-4 to get it to a stage that it hought was acceptable. at least i now know the basics :)

looking awesome mate!!! I am particulary loving the cape and axe, beard looks weaker than the rest of the model at this stage, but could be the photo\'s


also, if you could share your Nmm recipie I would be a happy camper!

made some progress on josef. heres some pics :

and @orkydave:

vomit brown all over blade
shcorched brown horizon line
add VB to SB and paint below horizon, getting darker towards the bottom
Add SW to B and paint above horizon, again darker towards the top.

That was the plan anyway: i need more practise to master it!:D

heres the finished mini- havent based him as im going to paint up the display base for him. gonig on holiday for 2 weeks so wont get ti done until after i come back (obviously)
