Hi, and you guessed right this will be my thoughts, concerns, and various other things concerning my journey into the world of miniatures. I don't know why I have chosen this medium per say, but it seems like a great place to walk through and smell the roses, after years of building/painting Gundam kits. I have tried painting minis only using a brush, and I got nice results most of the time. Not as nice as I would like it to be but close enough for now. Recently I found my airbrushing kit, that I had placed far far away in my closest, and forgotten about it. I cleaned it, and tested it out on a Necron mini torso form Warhammer 40k. I was very pleased about the results, and how well the paint dried evenly, and smoothly as you can see in the pictures below.
As you can see the metallic paint adhere well, and didn't pool, or if it did it pool very little in certain areas where you can't tell unless you were looking for them.
For now I wanna test a few things out with Necrons, and see if I can add a certain type of Chinese/Asian theme feel to them.
