Hi

Im doing a diorama for my local youngbloods painting comp and was wondering what is a good thing to stick down rocks onto bases ( my base is made from cardboard :D ) and what is good to stick models actually to this rock... i havent actually tried anything yet because im in the \"early stages\" but i was thinking just superglue might do the job ???

anyway thx in advance

Super glue, white glue/pva, gorrilla glue all work. If you can find it, Sheppard Pains book on building dioramas has a really good article on attaching rocks to things.

Thx steelcult, ill post some pictures of it here when its done, and does pva stick models too? Because the model that will be attached to the rock is metal.

thx alot

I\'d go with super glue for that one - the pva might work, but you\'re better off with super glue to attach two different substances.

For stiking the rock to the base I\'d say pva, because spuger glue isn\'t the best or easiest way to go for large surface. But for stiking the mini to your base I\'d say superglue, wouldn\'t want the mini to fall off.

be careful though, sinse you\'re using a cardboard base, most glues will make this warp to b*gg*ry...you\'re best off using either plastic card or a thin piece of picture frame backing..... if you\'re in the UK, hobbycraft make some excellent mdf \'coasters\' with bevelled edges, they\'re great for using as a display base. see my skaven: skaven
