But since I\'ve been being blamed for some time now for starting te dreaded WA thread I just thought I\'d point it out @Equus - Certainly! Feel free to arbitrarilly balme me for most anything that comes along.

hmm...yet another similarity to add to the growing list...
@leopardpixie...I think the \"add three words\" thread is very similar to the Word Association thread (that dauber started) in that it too started out as innocent fun. The WA thread became very hated because it spiralled out of control. It was unreadable, wasted space, and torqued a few people off. Many people saw it as the epitome of \'spamming\'. Hopefully, the JA3W thread will \'die on the vine\' and never turn into the beast the WA did.
What do you forum users think?

I think that posting freaks who can honestly claim to have never posted on the WA or the JA3W threads should get a pretty little star next to their freak title
After a little thought I don\'t see a problem with the new thread. If you enjoy it, enjoy it! if you don\'t enjoy it, it\'s one less link in your life you have to click on. Now if you don\'t like it, but find you strangly have to read it all, then post to it over and over...then there may be other issues

Actually, if I remember correctly people thought the WA thread was causing the site to slow down. which caused a lot of bitching among a few members. If I recall correctly, however it was a server issue and had nothing to do with the thread.
I feel if people know what it is and don\'t like it, the simplest solution is Don\'t open it.
No one is making anyone read the damn thread.
