Just getting back into painting...

Oh yes, they\'re a pain in the arse to assemble, but most of that pain is the cleaning. Those mould lines damn nearly killed my interest in Tomb Kings. Actually assembly was fun though; fiddling with each one\'s pose was enjoyable, making each one very unique.

Some tips for those skellies; I\'ve heard that if you intend to game with them a lot then it\'s worthwhile pinning the torsos to the legs. Also, the neck pieces on the torsos are quite long. I cut quite a bit of that off in order for the skellies not to look as though they\'re craning their necks forward.

I picked the Tomb Kings because I have some experience with GW skellies. I was working on an Undead army back when the Vampire Counts were simply called \"Undead\". Cleaning them shouldn\'t be a problem.

My fear is that if I start with something more complicated, and don\'t like the result, that I won\'t continue. I won\'t mind tossing a couple of plastic skellies though.

Again, thanks for all the advice guys. I\'d like to also put in a plug for Tabletop Games in KC. The guys there have been very friendly and helpful (unlike some other shops around here). A decent group of folks really.
