You cut off their heads and arms and mount big ass wings on them!!! He he he... my painting \"rig\" if you will. LOL

I usually paint my models completely together but with this one it was impossible. I have never had this delima before so I found these monkeys and made the following rig. Just thought it looked funny.

At first I thought that winged monster was trying to carry those poor marines off to the nest...lol

i was going to mount the goobers on a larger base... but come to find out they are pretty balanced as is. The dont fall over at all! I can only think, with this bad of a SM scout sculpt, this was the only real intention for making them. LOL

How\'re you finding Be\'Lakor to paint then? He\'s causing me nightmares. I too have decided to paint the wings separately, and I\'ve still got to undercoat \'em! Maybe I\'ll crack on tomorrow...

EXELLENT MODEL.

Some mindor things though. I am glazing the thing and the real problem with glazing is if there is a flaw in the skulpt it stands out like crazy. I am finding tiny odds and ends that i have to spend ungodly amounts of time on just because of the sculpt/color choice (orange).

The chainmail that he wears does not attach right so if you dont greenstuff the connection with an equally good attachment you will find yourself stareing at a real gap or sloppy place in the model.

Since it is a bit larger than most minis, blending can be quite the pain. If its not JUST RIGHT, it is obvious. No slacking allowed.

Good luck on him. We will have to compare notes when you are finished!

Just wait til you actually work on the painting of the wings... those suckers are detailed and tricky!!! I am spending as much time on them as the rest of the model! They have two sides! ARGH!

I spent hours pinning and puttying the sucker. The casting is CRAP! You\'re right about the chainmail, it was really fiddly trying to putty a smooth join. I agree, the model is AWESOME so should be worth all the trouble. Can\'t wait to see it finished......:D

Aw man, you suck! Be\'lakor, who cares about Be\'lakor when you have one winged headless scouts. Sheesh, and I thought you were cool. lol
