Kain and Abel

Aloa,

Cain and Abel, a duel which really has something into it from the depth of my heart these days. It shows the fight against my own inner bad guy - reasons won\'t be told because this goes way to deep and personal ;)

I have used 2 Red Box Games Miniatures, Bolverk the Bold and Conrad the Crazed for this epic duel. A pleasure to work with again and again - thanks to the Sculptor Tre\' for making such cool models and help my ideas and visions get manifested. The Who is who should be up to your own imagination...

More views in the gallery of CMON - sorry for the picture being so big in its seize - please be patient:

This one is a gift for a friend from Italy - because in Paint we trust - i have planned to visit and finally meet him this year, but i wasn\'t able - so this is for you my friend MXP, you\'ll get it when we meet because shipping is not an option. I am so much looking forward and i hope the gods may be with us in the future. So far it stays in my cabinet :)

Happy painting all around the globe!
Regards

its awesome, but the minis dont stand out on the diorama, i had to look for a while to see that there were 2 minis on there:O
maybe if the rocks wernt the same colour as their skin it would work a bit better.
anyway, wish i can paint like that:O

Praise

The diorama looks exceptional the skin tones are wonderful warm colours.

Try to get some more pictures up and some closeups of the characters, also try to play around with the lighting to change the atmosphere of the diorama when you take the pics...:D

i agree with aapjeBOBO a bit

the base of course is big and bada$$ but it makes the minis look a bit tiny, in my opinion most of the focus is directed to the base.

anyway, a great piece:)

I think people may be missing that this is more that just a dio it is an expresion of your present feelings and I must say looking at the piece I find it makes me feel this is not just a fight between 2 humans but also the humans vs there surrounding, then again I may be talking out of my buttlol. Anyway you slice it I like this dio.

Hi there,

sorry for my late reply - have been busy like hell. We really need at least one 48 hours day a week lol

Thanks for your nice words on this one. Sure the base is a bit disturbing, but i guess this also depends on everyones oppinion. Working so chaoticly, out of my stomach helped me here to work with a feeling inside my heart, i can\'t even explain why this became so big and chaotic... In the end i am really happy of having caught my feeling somehow.

I have made a very intresting moment, the last couple of days when i showed it to a friend of mine, who ain\'t nothing to do with miniatures at all. He was bored by the 2 barbarians above - he just has been fascinated by the base because he saw some kind flu (the thing some stand up for christmas, where baby jesus is lying and the 3 Holy Kings and so on) under the root from the front view... very intresting view.

The colours on the pictures uploaded are still a mess as i can\'t get to the point making good photos with my cheap camera. I have tried to make another one in my cabinet with lightning from the camera and it comes out totally different - i guess the truth lies somewhere in between:

Thank you again for your feedback to this very strange work of mine...

Keep on happy painting!
