Kasrkin Troops

[Brother Tom]

Painted in the GW colour scheme, I have painted these troops to give selling on Ebay a go again as I have not tried that for a long time now. I did buy these miniatures with the intention to paint them for myself but I just have to many collecting dust and I spend far to long on ones for my own collection so these have been painted with a bit more haste. I also used them as an opportunity to practice a bit of osl.

Thanx all I am glad you like them.
As for doing osl from the helmet light, I did think about it but as they are spotlights there is\'nt really any areas close enough to be effected by the beam. The beam may be pointing at the guns on some of the models who are holding them higher but I think it may have just looked a bit messy if I did do that, I did\'nt really want to overkill the effect.

About the OSL shouldn\'t the center of the light source be closer to white then yellow?

@ Krom1415 - thats a great idea, I had meant to do that but have been a bit lazy there. Now it has been done however.

@Gilvan Blight - Yep I would say it would get brighter towards the center to give it a nice glow, i\'m sure i did try to do that but I did\'nt want to get to fussy about it.

Hey brother Tom.
Followed your auction, seemed ok but if you wanna generate more interest in the future, try the following.
- Try to time your auctions so that they finsh on a Sunday night around 9ish, (means you post them at the right time on the right day accordingly.)
- Use a lower startingprice, gets people interested and then it normally gets bid up anyway.
- put multiple tags in the title, i.e Imperial Guard ImperialGuard Kasrkin Stormtrooper etc etc etc

Thanx Hubbabubba, I will keep that in mind for the next time I auction something. Not sure when that will be but I may do some more imperial guard in the near future.
Its difficult with the starting bid as i don\'t want to sell them at a really low price or it does\'nt seem worth doing. With the cost of the miniatures and all the auction fees thats about half of what they sold for and for the amount of time spent on them thats not much at all. I\'m glad they sold though and am not to worried about making mega money.
